The default mobile menu that came with your Shopify theme is basic — a flat list of categories, search hidden, account link buried somewhere. It worked when your catalog was small. As you grow, it doesn't scale. Mobile Menu replaces it: multi-level navigation, search at the top, account access ready, all pulling from your existing store structure.
Single-level list, hard to navigate large catalogs
A flat list of categories doesn't work when you have sub-categories and sub-sub-categories. Visitors can't drill down — everything is a top-level choice, or categories are so deep in the list they scroll past them.
Search is buried or missing
Many theme drawers hide search in a tab or secondary menu. When visitors want to find a specific item, they have to hunt for the search box instead of seeing it right at the top.
